In 1999, I joined the team at Arnold working on Volkswagen’s “Drivers Wanted” campaign. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from a variety of art directors and copywriters who specialized in broadcast, print, radio, and digital media. This experience helped me to grow and create award-winning work that has had a lasting influence on interactive design. It was a foundational experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have started my career working on this client.

We created a Flash microsite for the launch of the Jetta Wagon that demonstrated its roominess through one serendipitous day. Original music and a project-specific photoshoot brought the story to life.

We helped launch the microbus concept car
(just now going into production).

We partnered with filmmakers to build a virtual drive-in.

The 2002 autoshow microsite won a Clio and a One Award Silver Pencil.

We researched and designed an educational microsite for Volkswagen’s all-wheel-drive system, digging deep into the manuals to simplify the content for customers and ourselves.
