Branding and Art Direction

About The Project

RS Pure is a jewelry brand for real people — those who define their own style through their authenticity and classic vibe. The challenge: craft a brand that resonates with an audience that sets its own trends. Mimicing attitude brands like Mejuri wasn’t the answer, so we took a different approach and leaned into joy. RS Pure dares to be different, embracing vibrant colors and joyful smiles. I led the development of the brand’s guidelines, strategy, and art direction, across photo and video shoots, digital platform design, social media, and more.

Vibrant color brings pops of pink, yellow, and blue while rich jewel tones anchor the palette.

Paid media ads used big bold type that engages the “bold independent you.”

RS Pure's website is adorned with their jewelry. Color tells a story of joy, differentiating the brand from competitors like Mejuri.

Product photography is saturated with rich color

I explored logos that felt more authentic — something that could be hand printed

To explore the brand personality, we used archetypes — landing somewhere between an innocent and creator brand

The art direction is semi-seasonal, using a different palette for autumn and holiday than were used for the launch in summer.
