About The Project

As the creative lead responsible for refreshing the Bloomberg Professional App, I facilitated group discussions and research sessions to get to innovative new concepts. The "Future Forward" concept, presented below, integrates legacy elements with a sleek, modern aesthetic. The result is a visually striking design that honors the past while embracing the future.

Stock prices updated in real-time. We used simulated color burn as a way to show their movement over time.

The customizable menu feels cool and sophisticated. We used the dashboard of an Audi or BMW as inspiration.

The existing app used white text on black type. We proposed softening the black with a blue and an optional day/night mode to reduce eye strain.

We defined and refined hundreds of icons.

Many of the key features we design are still used by the app today.
