About The Project

Access to proper hygiene is a basic human right, yet millions suffer due to insufficient hygiene resources. SCA (now Essity), a global leader in paper products, recognized the need to expand their mission beyond manufacturing to actively improving global health. Through the Hygiene Matters initiative, we aimed to raise awareness of the crucial link between hygiene, health, and well-being. Leading the digital initiative, I developed the content hub that housed editorial, global surveys, infographics, and impactful outreach campaigns across a dozen countries. This effort sparked a public dialogue, shattered hygiene taboos, and made measurable improvements to hygiene standards, influencing the lives of millions worldwide.
